Опубликовано 13 января, 200620 г ну а теперь о Google хаке (Это частичный перевод книги "Google Hacks", O'Reilly Pub Date ) те принципы поиска, о которых идёт речь, сейчас являются базовыми для всех возможных провайдеров-накопителей информации. это знают все. как постоянный пользователь могу сказать - чем больше используется все возможные коннекторы - тем минимальнее результаты поиска. минимальнее - не значит точнее. расширенный поиск по google удобнее в каких случаях?

Булева алгебра), но не их реализация конкрентной поисковой системой. Двигатель внутреннего сгорания тоже принципиально един для всех автомобилей. Хотя, я не уверен, что верно понял слово "коннекторы". Что Вы имели в виду под этим термином? Операторы языка запросов? И уточните, пожалуйста, кого Вы назвали провайдером-накопителем - поисковые машины типа Google или Yandex или кого-то другого? Расширенный поиск по любой системе удобен, когда полнота результатов не важна, а важно быстро получить ответ на какой-то относительно несложный фактический вопрос - в сочетании с нежеланием вникать в операторы запроса конкретной поисковой машины. То, что когда результаты поиска минимальнее - не всегда точнее, это верно.

This operator can be used in all the search fields. OR , A comma ( , ) finds records with at least one of the terms; e.g., JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, CSFB. This operator can be used in all the search fields. NOT - A minus sign ( - ) excludes articles that contain selected words; e.g., finance-stock market will retrieve articles with the term finance not stock market. This operator can be used in all the search fields. TRUNCATION * An asterisk ( * ) added to the end of a word stem allows for alternate word endings; e.g., telecom* will retrieve telecom, telecoms and telecommunications. This operator can be used in all the search fields. PRIORITY () When combining connectors, use brackets to group the terms together and instruct the system in which order to process them. The brackets always go round the terms separated by a comma ( , ); e.g., stock market + (finance, shares) will find stock market and finance or stock market and shares. This operator can be used in all search fields. PROXIMITY & :nn NEAR Nx Wx Use an ampersand ( & ) or the word NEAR between two words in the Search Text and Title fields to find articles with the terms within 20 words of each other; e.g., market & finance, market NEAR finance. Add :nn to an & search or use Nx or Wx to modify the number of words that comes between the two terms. For example, • (defense,defence) & contract:5 • (defense,defence) N5 contract retrieves all documents where defense or defence occurs within five words of contract (or contracts). Wx retrieves term1 within x words of term2 in that order, so cat W4 hat finds cat in the hat,but hat W4 cat does not. To include the proximity operators in a search, use the ignore operators ( " " ). For example, "S&P" "W3" or "N4" • Boolean operator searches are not case-sensitive. • Up to 4096 characters can be used in the search boxes. • For the best results, do not truncate a word with less than four characters (e.g., use tech* not tec*). • You can use the word version of each operator in the free text and title boxes. For example: "and" or "+" can be used. • Using the "+" or the word "AND" to add terms to the search will result in documents that contain both search terms, however far apart. • If two or more search terms are entered in the search text box without Boolean or proximity operators, the search will be executed as an exact phrase. • Use quote marks to search for the exact phrase to ignore boolean operators. • Go to the Publication Date page to choose specific windows of time for a search.

Примерно такой же, но иной есть у Артефакта, Яндекса, Яху, Гугла и еще у многих, кто пользуется Булевой алгеброй. Вы хотели показать именно язык ThomsonDialog или имели в виду какое-то обобщение?
